TUPI ¹ - evenly stitching and pressing the fabric into specific lengths and widths and sewing them into fixed pleats depending on the style it is being created into
KUMPOL ² - uses the quilt’s texture to somehow become a "micro cushion" in the garments
IKOT ³ - manipulated by hand it aims to imitate the motion of “pag ikot” (going around), sealing it off with a layer of pique to create abstract shapes
SIK-SIK⁴ - involves concepts of gathering, pressing whole piques, intentionally layering and stitching to create a whole garment
ALAMBRE⁵ - a direct interpretation of the chicken wire barricade / fence textures seen on the architecture, from mundane to notable ones in the Philippines
PILIPIT⁶ - the edge of the pique fabrics are literally twisted and secured carefully by hand, by which the seams define the style and drape of the garment
